More Than Shoes
Kicks For Kidz was created by She Speaks Community Co. to provide brand new sneakers to children who need them most. This initiative is about removing barriers, restoring confidence, and reminding our youth that they are seen, supported, and valued.
Our first giveaway was held on June 27, 2026 at Fred Fletcher Park during It Takes a Village. It was a day of music, vendors, wellness, and families walking away with new shoes — and it was only the beginning.

Who Can Apply?
Open to children and families
Children in Need
Families who need support purchasing new sneakers for the school year.
Parents & Guardians
Applications must be completed by a parent or guardian on behalf of each child.
Local Families
Priority is given to families in Raleigh and surrounding communities.
How it works
